New Season for New City PS

The new season starts this week, so it's time to update you all on a few changes that have happened over the summer.

Firstly, welcome to the new look website. The basic same functionality of the old site is still here, but moving to this new CMS based platform will allow us to make some important changes to the way we keep you, the members up to date, and to how we project ourselves and our many success to the public.

This new website brings a blog style news feed front and centre, serving as the club's homepage. Each committee member will be responsible for regularly updating you on what we're doing as well as changes to schedules. It will also allow us to quickly share with you and other non-members information about involvement in external competitions, exhibitions and events.

We also have the ability to bring new features to the site very quickly - for example, you will soon be able to renew your membership quickly & securely online via this website.

I would also encourage you to interact with this news feed, making comments, suggestions, and giving feedback. You should also feel free to share posts with your friends and social networks.

Secondly, the calendar has been updated with the new programme for the 2014/2015 Season and the Competition Rules have been updated to take care of a few errors and to make clear the changes to the Internal League with the non-scoring critique round. The competition dates and set subject titles have also been updated.

Finally, you should all know we have a new venue for the 2014/2015 season. From September 4th, we will be at Little Brickhill Village Hall. This is situated just off the A5 and will serve us as a great venue for the coming season.

I'm also pleased to announce that for the duration of our time at Little Brickhill Village Hall, there will be no charge for tea & coffee!
